Our process begins with an initial consultation. But first, let’s talk, we want to learn more about your project and how we can help. We are focused on making the home interior design process simple and pleasurable from start to finish. Through clear communication, collaboration, and earned trust, we take pride in our work. The finished product is a reflection of your unique style, your home’s character, and our ability to seamlessly execute the combination of the two.
Our onboarding process begins with a concept meeting. This meeting gives our team great insight into our client’s personal style, their likes, and dislikes, and often reveals the starting point, from which our team will expand and stretch into a dazzling design for your home.
Design Phase
Now that the framework has been laid, and we have gotten to know you better, Jennifer and her team will get to work and create your individualized design. We provide a comprehensive presentation allowing you to visualize your new space. Presentations include furniture layouts, frame styles, fabrics, trims, lighting, flooring, architectural drawings, hardware, and any other element needed to complete your space. Our kitchen and bathroom designs are comprehensive as well. Space planning and storage is an important part of these projects, we love diving into the details.
Design presentations typically include cabinetry plans and renderings, the selection of door styles and finishes, tile, countertop materials, hardware, light fixtures, and plumbing selections. Once all the design elements have been finalized and approved, Bummer Lamb Design provides the client and contractor with a Project Document, preparing us for the next phase of the project, Procurement & Project Management.
Procurement +Project Management
This is the step where our collaboration becomes reality. Professional project documents are created for all necessary parties, every detail and specification is confirmed, a project schedule is created, orders are placed and tracked. Our Project Management offering is customized for your needs. For clients who prefer to live off-site, or travel during renovations, we offer full-service Project Management. For clients who enjoy participating in the process, we conduct scheduled visits, to check progress and ensure interior design plans are being executed as planned.
Installment
We are just as excited as you are to see the final result. At this final step, we unveil your new home…furniture is set in place, light fixtures are installed, window treatments are hung, pillows are fluffed, accessories are styled, and artwork mounted…
